ALEX AGNEW AND LEGION OF THE DAMNED AMONG THE FIRST NAMES CONFIRMED
The Buma ROCKS! conference programme will start with a keynote speech by Alex Agnew. Well-known in the Benelux as the singer for Antwerp metalband Diablo Blvd, but equally famous for his stand-up comedy routine that captivated audiences in Belgium and the Netherlands since 2003. Also confirmed for the conference is American radio DJ Marco Collins, who witnessed the rise of grunge in the nineties when he was working for alternative radio station The End in Seattle. Furthermore Buma ROCKS! will offer sound advice to rock musicians who are trying to set up their business, with accountant/Rock Academy teacher Ruud Hoevenaar, as the first guest to answer questions both appropriate and not. Death-thrashers Legion Of The Damned are confirmed for a show during the evening’s Buma ROCKS! @ FortaRock. Ever since their debut album Malevolent Rapture from 2006, this four-piece from Limburg has been tearing it up in- and outside of the Netherlands.
